Eagles Snatch Away Tie Game to Win Over Geos in Four Sets

Kirkland, WA - Northwest University defeated Evergreen 3-1 (25-14, 25-27, 25-22, 25-14) tonight in Cascade Conference play.
Hailey Harris (Shosone, ID) led the Evergreen State College (1-18, 1-13 CCC) with 12 kills and a game high 21 digs. Katie Huston (Newcastle, WA) had 30 assists for the Geoducks and Chantal Petkus (West Richland, WA) contributed 15 digs for ESC.
Leading the way for Northwest U. (8-14, 5-10 CCC), was sophomore Lauren Holtz who finished the game with 11 kills and 11 defensive digs. Libby Hellwig had a game high 38 assists and teammate Andrea Cotton contributed 19 digs for the Eagles.
Northwest U. now travels to Eugene, Oregon to play Northwest Christian University on October 24 while ESC plays Northwest Christian the following evening, October 25th.
