Portland, OR - Evergreen struggles to find consistency in 3-0 loss to Warner Pacific. 25-22, 25-15, 25-19.

With the victory, the Knights (5-3, 3-3 CCC) snap a three-match losing streak,

The Geoducks (2-9, 1-5 CCC), however, find themselves back in the loss column after defeating Cascade on Friday night.

Led by senior Leah Gradwohl, the Knights hit a steady .351 for the match and half of the team's points were recorded via the kill. Aiding in the team's 37 kills was junior setter Samantha Kolakowski, who tallied 30 assists.

It looked promising for Evergreen following a close first set that went back-and-forth until the end. The Knights exploded late in the second set to pull ahead. Up 17-13, Kolakowski began serving and kept finding the open spot on the Geoducks side, recording 3 service aces in the span of 6 points.

The Geoducks simply were unable to put a chink in the armor of the Knights until the end of the last set.

The Geoducks were led by Kandice Gleaves and Jessica DuBois in kills with eight apiece while Katie Huston contributed 20 assists and 2 service aces.

Evergreen hosts next Friday (Sept. 26) when College of Idaho comes to the Greenhouse.
