High Ranked OIT Makes Short Work of Evergreen Tonight

Olympia, WA - Evergreen lost to visiting Cascade Conference powerhouse Oregon Institute of Technology tonight in three games (25-10, 25-13, 25-9).
Tonight was the second weekend loss for the Geoducks to top conference and NAIA teams, losing to Southern Oregon University last night.
OIT is 4-0 in conference play so far this season and has an overall record of 8-2. The Geoducks slip to 0-3 in conference play and 1-7 overall.
Evergreen was led in kills by Kandice Gleaves who totaled 7. Katie Huston had 10 assists.
Errors continue to plague Evergreen, who totalled 23 attack errors to OIT's 3.
For the Owls, Krista Wooley tallied 11 kills for her team. Anna Leal and Lizzie Law had 6 kills each with Law adding 18 assists.
The Geoducks resume play next Friday at Cascade College in a 7 PM confernence game in Portland, Ore.
