Volleyball Set to Start the Season with a New Outlook

Olympia, WA - In his sophomore season, Head Coach Clay Blackwood has the team scheduled to take on ESC Alumni on August 23rd as an opening test.

In the recent Cascade Conference Pre-Season Poll Evergreen was ranked 11th of 11 teams, but Blackwood is confident that the team will move up the ranks. Volleyball quick facts.

Things are looking up for the Geoducks. Blackwood has brought in some new, talented athletes onto the team and '07 team stats leaders Kandice Gleaves and Katie Huston are back. Madeline Blevens, who sat out in '07, is back this season as well.

August 29th the Geoducks will travel to the Lewis & Clark College Tournament in Portland.
