Beacon's win giving Geoducks sixteenth loss in a row

Olympia, WA - Northwest Christian College swept Evergreen in three games tonight at home, winning with scores of 30 - 22, 30 -14, 30-17. It was the sixteenth loss in a row for the persistent Geoducks.
Evergreen held strong in the first game and held the lead past the halfway mark. A series of errors helped the Beacons pull ahead for the game win. Errors continue to be one of the downfalls of the team as Evergreen posted a -.034 attack percentage on the night. NCC posted a .289 attack percentage.
Leading the Geoducks in kills was again Kandice Gleaves with 11. Sabrina Tan tallied 7 kills, 3 service aces and 9 defensive digs. Katie Huston had 19 set assists tonight.
For the Beacons, Cotie Howard and Brooke Stribling each had 11 kills with Cotie recording 2 blocks. Meagan Hunts set up 17 points in the match.
Next weekend Evergreen hosts Eastern Oregon University Friday and The College of Idaho on Saturday. Both games at 7 PM.
