OLYMPIA, Wash. – Evergreen lost to visiting Oregon Tech (14-30, 9-30, 22-30) tonight in Olympia. Tomorrow they host the number two ranked team in the Cascade Conference.

In the third game Evergreen kept close to the Owls through the first half. Kandice Gleaves kept her team in the mix with some needed kills and smart defensive play, which included two blocks and one block assist.

On the Geoducks squad, Gleaves had 7 kills for Evergreen and 23 touch assists. Katie Huston was credited with 11 set assists.

Nicole Andrews of OIT earned 12 kills tonight taking advantage of Lizzie Law's and Katie Coburns sets. Law and Coburn had 14 and 10 set assists respectively.

The Geoducks remain winless at 0-11 but have shown courage and tenacity playing with just 6 players on the court.

OIT improves their record to 16-8.

Tomorrow's game with Southern Oregon will begin at 7:00 PM at Evergreen.
