PORTLAND , Oregon . – Women's volleyball played two matches in the Portland area this weekend. Friday, they played Warner Pacific University losing 0-3 and Saturday against Cascade College winning 3-0. Both were conference games for Evergreen.  

Friday's game vs. WPU scores were 24-30, 19-30, 15-30. Madeline Blevens led Evergreen with 8 kills and 15 assists.  

Fortune was better for Evergreen on Saturday as the defeated Cascade 30-20, 30-18, 30-24.  

Chelsea Jacobson and Emily Peterson led the team in kills, each with 9. They also had 16 and 18 assists respectively. Madeline Blevens again had a strong game for Evergreen with 8 kills and 23 assists.

Volleyball action continues Friday at home as they host Albertson at 7:00 PM
