Improved Geoducks lose to strong UPS team |

September 6, 2006 Olympia, Wash. – The volleyball team was ready to play tonight. Although losing 1-4 to The University of Puget Sound, their play was much improved over last nights match against Northwest University. Attacks came much more often by more team members tonight. Candice Gleaves (Fr), Tiffany Stewart (Sr) and Madeline Blevens (Sr) had strong games. UPS benefited by the hard hitting of middle Monica Groves who scored 27 kills in the match.
