Portland, Oregon—Evergreen missed a chance to stop the bleeding as the Geoducks fell to Cascade College in a battle between the conference's last place teams. The loss extended Evergreen's conference losing streak to nine games dating back to the last time these two teams played when Evergreen emerged as 3-1 victors.

The Geoducks opened the match with a 30-23 behind the attacking of Madeline Blevens who amassed 23 kills on the night. But Cascade climbed back into the contest with a 30-20 win in game two and a 30-17 win in game three.

Evergreen squared the contest with a tough 32-30 game four victory. But Cascade took the clincher 15-13 to tie the two teams at 2-14 in conference play.

Elyse Johnston recorded 12 kills on the night and Stephanie Cameron added nine more as Chelsea Jacobson dished out 42 assists in the match.

Evergreen returns to campus to close out its season this weekend against Corban College Friday night and Concordia University Saturday night. Both games are slated for 7:00 p.m. starts.
