Olympia, WA - The only thing sweeter than your first game win: your first match win. After an hour and a half of play, The Evergreen State College Geoducks pulled out their first volleyball win of the season.

Taking the first two games to get warmed up, Evergreen ordered up a five-game win over the visiting Warner Pacific Knights: 29-31, 25-30, 30-16, 30-24, 19-17.

The Geoducks win handed the Knights their eighth loss of the season and their sixth conference loss. Previous to tonight's match, Evergreen was sitting on a six game losing streak and at the bottom of the Cascade Conference standings, along with Warner Pacific.
