Walla Walla Sweeps Geoducks

Olympia, WA - Evergreen volleyball was swept for the seventh straight time this year as the Geoducks fell in three games to the visiting Walla Walla CollegeWolves. The match was a statistical dead heat as both teams registered 34 kills, Evergreen had 25 errors to the Wolves 24, 19 assists to the Wolves 17 and 49 digs to the Wolves 51.

The scoreboard was close, too, as Walla Walla won the match 30-27, 30-28, 30, 27.

Kaylene Black led the Evergreen defense for the second night in a row as the senior had 11 digs. Mattie Blevens was the Geoducks kills leader with nine while Chelsea Jacobson recorded 13 assists.

Evergreen looks to snap its seven-game losing streak as they host Warner Pacific College in their first home game of the season September 23rd at 7:00 p.m..
