PORTLAND, OR -- It took a little over an hour for the Cavs to finish off Evergreen State as Concordia remains undefeated in conference play.

Concordia came out on fire and looked very impressive as they dominated from start to finish against conference opponent Evergreen State College. The game barely lasted an hour as the Cavs won in three straight games.

The Cavs controlled every aspect of the match, never letting the Geoducks a chance to gain any momentum. The second game, which saw the Cavs jump out to a 20-5 lead, proved that Concordia was not going to let up. Leading the Cavs on the offensive attack was Kelly Holleran with 12 kills. Also contributing on the attack were Krista Ekeberg with 8 kills and Amanda Larsen and Amy Nevills with 7 each. The Cavs had an impressive .460 kill percentage while limiting Evergreen State College to a .048 kill percentage. Dishing out the solid assists for the Cavaliers was Mindy Wallas who recorded 35 assists for the match.

"This was definitely our best team effort this season," said coach Chris Duenow. "This was an all around great performance by all the players." The Cavs increase their overall record to 11-2 and remain undefeated in conference with a perfect 10-0 record. Up next, the Cavs will take on Northwest College at home on Saturday, October 12. The match is set for a 7:00pm start.
