OLYMPIA, WA -- Evergreen did not have an answer for a powerful Albertson volleyball team. The Geoducks (1-3, 3-4) faced a determined Yotes (3-1, 5-4) team that ended a two game slide.

Evergreen was led by sophomore Stephanie Short (Spokane, Wash./ Spokane Falls CC) who had 10 kills and 8 digs in the match. The Geoducks managed only two blocks in the game as Albertson put on an offensive display with 62 kills.

The Yotes were led by Katy Tipton with 18 kills, 25 digs, and two blocks. Kristyn Price added 17 kills in the effort for Albertson. Evergreen won the third game of the match, but that was the only game in which it was close. Evergreen takes to the court for a 7:00 p.m. game at Eastern Orgeon Saturday night.
