KLAMATH FALLS, OR -- Evergreen lost the first game of their final two game road trip of the year. The trip to southern Oregon is one of the longest and hardest to take in the Cascade Conference for the Geoducks, at least a seven hour drive from Olympia, and the trip didn't get any better once they arrived.

Evergreen (6-12, 4-11) lost in three straight sets to Oregon Tech (13-9, 9-1) 24-30, 27-30, and 15-30. The Geoducks were again plagued by errors in close games. Evergreen committed six service errors and seven receiving errors.

Courtney Brandon (Pomeroy, Wash. / Walla Walla CC) led all hitters with 14 kills, she added four assisted blocks in the match. On the defensive side, Karina Philliber (Graham, Wash. / Bethel HS) had 13 digs on the night.

The Geoducks will finish out the season on Saturday in Ashland, Ore. as they take on Southern Oregon. The game will start at 7:00 p.m.
