October 19, 2001 OLYMPIA, WA -- The Geoducks let the first game get away from them, but from the start of the second game until the final point, Evergreen (6-9, 4-8) dominated the Knights (1-17, 0-14). The Geoducks won their sixth match of the season, 27-30, 30-19, 30-19, 30-21. Evergreen was in control most of the evening, not allowing Warner Pacific any momentum. Two other Geoduck players notched double digit kills, Courtney Brandon (Pomeroy, Wash. / Walla Walla CC) and Karina Philliber (Graham, Wash. / Bethel HS), with 13 and 10 respectively.
