OLYMPIA, Wash. - Evergreen is sending fourteen men's and women's track and field team members to the Cascade Conference Championships this Thursday - Saturday at Mt. Hood CC Stadium in Gresham, OR.

Evergreen currently has a number of athletes seated near the top of their events.

Lindsey Farah is ranked 4th and 6th in the 800 and 400 meters respectively. Sr. Emily Uhlig, who has qualified for the NAIA National Championships, sits in 2nd in the Steeplechase and 11th in the 5000 meters. Ana Casillas is right behind her, ranked 12th in the 5000.

On the men's side, sprinter Ryan Lara sits at 10th and 8th in the 200 and 400 meters respectively. Tumwater grad Miguel Pineda is ranked 7th in the 800 meters. Brian Rakestraw is sitting in 8th place in the 5000 meters and will enter the 10,000 meters Thursday night as well. Rakestraw has qualified for the marathon at the National Championships.
