Mike Bryant came to Evergreen in 2010, leading the Geoduck volleyball program to a record of 5-17 overall and 4-14 in CCC contests. In addition to his coaching duties, Bryant also serves as recreation coordinator.

A 1996 graduate of University of Washington, Bryant came to Olympia following successful stints as an assistant coach at Seattle University, University of Idaho and University of Pittsburgh. In addition, he served as program coordinator for University of Washington and was part of the program that won the 2005 NCAA Division I National Championship.

Mike also has head coaching experience in the high school ranks, leading Holy Names Academy to their first ever Metro League title and earning Big Bend Coach of the Year honors at Lawton Chiles HS in Tallahassee, Fla.

In addition to his B.A. in sociology from Washington, Bryant also hold a Masters in sports administration from Seattle Pacific University. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. with research areas related to sociological and academic issues in intercollegiate athletics.
