James Pratt Ends his Final Season with Cascade Conference Honor
November 19, 2008
PORTLAND, Ore. - Senior James Pratt was named to the All-Cascade Conference Second Team yesterday as announced by the conference. It is the second time in Pratt's ESC career that he has been the recipient of this honor.
Pratt, team captain and midfielder for the Geoducks, scored 2 goals and 2 assists this season. His ability to communicate with his team members and execute plays has made him a valuable part of the men's team the past 3 seasons.
Earning honorable mention for the Geoducks were Matt Curry and Corey Spears-Johnson.
Curry, also a senior, totaled 12 points this season which included 4 goals and 4 assists. Curry will be missed as a player that brought speed and excitement to the front line.
Spears-Johnson is a promising freshman who led the Geoducks in goals with 9 this season. His tally included two games with three or more goals, a total that ranks him in the top ten All-Time list in points and goals per game for Evergreen.
The men's soccer team finished 4th in the north division of the Cascade Conference and 7th overall. Their season record finished at 5-12 overall and 4-7 in the conference.
