Farrow named to All-Conference First Team

PORTLAND, Ore. - The Cascade Collegiate Conference released the Men's Soccer post-season honors which included five Evergreen players. Shawn Farrow, a junior forward from Lakewood, WA (Clover Park High School) headlines Evergreen players with his First Team award. Farrow is the first Geoduck since 2005 to be included on the list.

In addition to Farrow's All-Conference nod, he was named Cascade Conference Offensive Player of the Week yesterday. Farrow compiled eleven goals in the season, including three in the last two winning games for Evergreen. The South Puget Sound Community College transfer ranked second in season goals in the conference.

All-Conference Honorable Mention honors went to four men's team members. Matt Stalnik (Jr Kasilof, AK), twice the conference defensive player of the week this season was recognized for his goal tending. He finished the season with a .753 save percentage.

Other defenders on the list included Matt Andrews (Jr. Kamiak HS) and Joshua Hacker (Jr. Eisenhower HS).

Junior forward Jesse Wheelock (White River HS), who tallied six goals in the season, rounds out the Geoduck honorees.

Evergreen men's soccer finished their season in fifth place in the final CCC standings.
