Geoducks keep Eagles scoreless in 3-0 win |

October 2, 2007 OLYMPIA, Wash. - Shawn Farrow, Eduardo Millan and Ryan Mulnick each scored in today's game against Northwest University. Northwest (4-7), who beat Evergreen 4-0 in Seattle September 5th, only managed one shot on goal to Evergreen's eight.
It was the sixth goal of the season for Farrow, who scored on an assist from Mulnick thirty-two minutes into the game.
Head coach John Purtteman is pleased at the way the team is coming together. "The team is over their early season disappointment of losing two key players to injuries". Adding, "The center midfielders are communicating well with each other".
The Geoducks (4-6-1 overall, 3-4-1 in conference) win will most likely move them up in the Cascade Conference standings.
Evergreen next travels to Canada for a Monday game October 8th with Simon Fraser University. |
