Men fall to strong Concordia team

PORTLAND , Oregon - Concordia University secured a 2-1 victory over Evergreen in a Cascade Collegiate Conference game today at Concordia.
Evergreen State (3-5-1, 2-2 CCC) scored the first goal of the game on James McDonnell's penalty kick at 59:20.
Scott Bernards of Concordia tied the score 56 seconds later, after gathering in a crossing pass from Rigo Rivas.
Bernards scored the game-winning goal at 62:04 on a shot from about 25 yards out that found the right corner of the net. Mirzet Sacirovic assisted on the goal.
The men's soccer team will be at home this week, playing Warner Pacific University at 3:00 PM on Saturday.
