Two Geoducks named to All-America team

OLYMPIA, Wash.Evergreen senior defender James McDonnell and freshman midfielder Ryan Dey were both named to the NAIA Region I and All-America honorable mention teams today.

McDonnell anchored a defense that gave up only 19 goals all season to lead the Cascade Collegiate Conference in goals allowed. Dey, despite being a freshman, was the cornerstone of Evergreen's midfield.

The two players led a team that finished 13-6 on the season, advanced to the NAIA Region I tournament and finished the year receiving votes as one of the top 25 teams in the nation.
