Gjertsen's Goals Rewarded with CCC Player of the Week Honors

Olympia, WA-Joseph Gjertsen was named the Cascade Collegiate Conference player of the week for his four goal effort in two games. Gjertsen and the Geoducks defeated Warner Pacific University on the strength of Joe's hat trick. Gjertsen notched another tally in Evergreen's 3-0 win over Western Baptist.

This is the second week in a row Geoducks have garnered player of the week honors as last week Evergreen forward Nathan Ford was also singled out for his goal scoring efforts.

The Geoducks moved above .500 with the two wins and sit at 5-3. They are 2-1 in CCC play and currently reside in second place.
