Ford Earns Regional Player of the Week Honors |

September 21, 2004 Olympia, WA -- Evergreen men's soccer forward Nathan Ford received recognition as the Cascade Collegiate Conference player of the week as well as the Region 1 player of the week as he recorded a goal against Division II power Chico State and a hat trick against conference bottom-dweller Cascade College. Evergreen defeated Chico State 2-1. At the time Chico was ranked as the #2 team in the country but they have been able to muster only two wins on the season and have dropped out of the top 25. Cascade has given up 27 goals on the season and scored zero. Evergreen, who beat Western Baptist at home on Tuesday, improved its record to 4-3. |
