Warner Pacific downs Geoducks

PORTLAND, Ore. -- For the second game in a row, the Geoducks could not mount much of an offensive attack. This time the foe was Warner Pacific (4-5, 1-2). The Knights never gave the Geoducks (3-7, 1-4) any opportunity to gain momentum, and once the Knights got on a roll they just never let up.

The Geoducks and Knights were even in shots at the end of the first half, but the score was 3-0 in favor of Warner Pacific. Knights goalie Sean Conlon had 5 saves in the game, 4 of them coming in the first half. He was not tested much in the second half. Aaron Marvin had two goals in the game for Waner Pacific.

The loss hurts Evergreen in terms of Cascade Conference standing, but does not eliminate the Geoducks from contention. Evergreen has crucial home games coming up that can help them get back in the race.

Evergreen will play at home on Friday against Concordia (Ore.). The game will begin at 4:00 p.m.
