OCTOBER 5, 2001 Concordia shutout Geoducks 4-0 OLYMPIA, Wash. - For the third game in a row the Geoducks have failed to score. Concordia (6-5, 5-1) kept Evergreen (3-8, 1-5) in check for most of the game. The Geoducks kept the first half close, trailing 1-0 at half time, but the second half was all Cavaliers. Evergreen struggled to get the ball out of their own zone for most of the second half. Evergreen only had one shot in the second half, four for the game. Concordia gained momentum in the second half a quick goal to start off the period. Evergreen goalie Tom Kneeshaw (Eatonville, Wash./ Eatonville HS) had a good game despite the score. Most of Concordia's goals came off of rebounds, either off the post, or a block. The Geoducks struggled to keep their morale high after the second goal. Concordia took full advantage of the situation and added two more goals. The Geoducks will be in action, at home, on Saturday at 1:00 p.m., as they take on Cascade College.
