OLYMPIA, Wash. - Evergreen heads into their second game of the weekend undefeated in regular season play and extended their home win streak to 4-0. The Geoducks defeated the visiting Warriors of Corban College 84-71 tonight.

The four highest scores (in the double digits) were led by Nate Menefee's (SO, Timberline HS) 24 points and 5 rebounds, the Geoducks won their first Cascade Conference game of the season.

Leading Corban 41-39 at halftime, Evergreen opened the second half with a 7-2 burst of shooting, to take a 48-41 lead. The Geoducks never fell behind as they pulled away decisively.

Wade Douglas led the Warriors with 19 points and 11 rebounds to score a double-double.

Corban drops to 2-4 overall as Evergreen leads the conference with their 4-0 record.

Concordia University (OR) visits Evergreen in a 7:30 pm game tomorrow.
