OLYMPIA, Wash. - Aaron Schlund, a 6'3" guard from North Seattle Community College has signed a Letter of Intent to play basketball for Evergreen during the 2007-'08 season.

Schlund (Issaquah HS '05) averaged 20.8 points and 6.7 rebounds per game for the NSCC Storm. From the free throw line he made 86% of his shots.

"We are glad that Aaron has choose to come to Evergreen State" said Head Coach Tom Kenna. "He is a quality person, student, and athlete".

Kenna noticed Schlund's competiveness on the court in addition to his ability to score. These attributes led to Schlund being added to Second Team All NWAAC honors during the 2006-'07 season.

Schlund intends to study biology while at Evergreen.
