OLYMPIA , Wash. -Evergreen's head men's basketball coach, Tom Kenna, announced the signing of transfer Adam Moore for the 2006-07 season today. Moore, a 6'6" wing, averaged just over seven points per game last season for Seattle University.

"Adam is a very good basketball player," said Kenna. "With his height and athletic ability, he will cause match-up problems for a lot of teams."

Moore ended up at Seattle University by way of Everett Community College where he averaged 19.5 points and six rebounds per game.

Those stats are similar to the one's Moore posted during his senior year at Everett High School. Scoring 20.8 points per game on a school record 70 percent shooting percentage, Moore was tabbed Wesco South League Player of the Year.

"Adam has the ability to hit the three ball, or take defenders off the bounce and finish with a resounding dunk," said Kenna. "He will bring a lot to our team offensively and should be a lot of fun to watch."
