OLYMPIA, Wash. - Evergreen slips to 7-17 overall and a seven game losing streak after tonights 74-87 loss to Albertson College of Idaho. There was strong shooting by both teams from the field, with Evergreen hitting 62% of their shots.

Evergreen's game strategy varied little from last nights game against Eastern Oregon. Tonight more shots were let loose and found the net more often.

The Geoducks again did not have all their starters in the game. Despite this, Evergreen actually came together well as a team and finished the game with a loss margin of 11 points less than the last time they met with the Coyotes.

Evergreen was aggressive under the boards, totalling 35 rebounds to Albertson's 19.

Marcus Whittaker had a season high of 23 points and Rahiti Marere had a great night with 21 points for The Geoducks bettering his previous seasons best by 14 points. David Howard added a double-double night with 14 points and 11 rebounds.

Albertson College was led by the strong efforts of Ike Stafford who totaled 21 points. Brandon Nielsen and Josh Owen contributed 19 points each.

Evergreen is on the road this weekend, traveling to Oregon to play Concordia University on Friday and Corban College Saturday.
