Geoducks denied by Hawks

PORTLAND, OR -- The Evergreen State College men (9-18 overall, 5-12 CCC) recorded a 71-76 loss tonight against the Cascade College Hawks (7-22 overall, 3-14 CCC) in Portland .

The Geoducks had the lead at the break, 35-32, but it slipped away come the second half as the Hawks outscored Evergreen 44-36 in the latter 20 minutes.

Greener, Pat Mattson, had the team high of 27 points with Doug Dietz adding 13 and Thomas Cook put in 14 points and grabbed ten rebounds to record a double-double. Cascade's Joshua Garrett put in the game high of 34 points.

The Geoducks will be hosted by second place Warner Pacific tomorrow night, the 18th of February.
