PORTLAND, OR -- One year after reaching the NAIA national tournament, The Evergreen State College men's basketball team didn't make it out of the first round.

The Geoducks' season ended Wednesday night with a 86-74 loss to Concordia University in the opening round of the Cascade Conference Tournament.

Mike Parker scored a game-high 33 points to lead Evergreen, which finished 13-20.

Parker hit a 3-pointer to tie the game at 54 with 10 minutes left, but the Cavaliers took over from there.

Concordia's Jon Lee hit two jumpers to put the Cavs up 72-66 and finished off a three-point play to seal the win.

Lee led the balanced Cavaliers attack with 19 points, and four other players scored in double figures.

For Evergreen, Adam Laneer added 12 points and Haikima Moore scored 10.
