September 8, 2005

OLYMPIA, Wash. -- Evergreen's first cross country meet of the season will take place this Friday at the campus of The Evergreen State College. The dual meet featuring Evergreen and Saint Martins was originally scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m. However, the start times have been changed to a 5:00 pm start for the women's 5k. The men's 5k will start at 5:30 p.m.

The race will feature Evergreen's academic All-America Josh Klimek in his first race of 2005. Klimek is expected to have a strong cast of supporting runners for this fall season.

Meanwhile the Geoduck women's team features a host of new faces joining top returning runners Liesl Plomski and Rachel Williams.
