Junior Josh Klimek finished 22nd overall today in the Region I Champs and 10th in the Cascade Conference. He earned All-Conference status in the process. The qualifying procedure for Individuals has 5 athletes not on a qualifying team. Josh finished as the 4th individual not on a team. Region I has 5 teams ranked in the top 25 NAIA which helps get more teams from Region in on "At-Large" berths. Even if Warner Pacific, who finished 5th, does not make an at large berth Josh will only be pushed down to the 5th individual. While final qualifiers won't be posted until monday, he's basically in. He ran a gutsy race from the gun and it came down to the final 100 meters to pass four other competitors fighting for National spots. The Evergreen Men's squad had their best meet of the season finishing 6th in the Cascade Conference and 9th in the Region.

Women's team was led by Megan Mower in 54th place (25th in the Cascade Conference). They finished 11th in the Region and 7th in the Cascade Conference.
