In the women's 5k race, Evergreen placed eighth of twelve teams. Leading the Geoducks was senior Candy Owens who finished in 24th of 88 finishers in a time of 20:30.

"Both our men's and women's squads had their best meet so far this year," Coach Dickson proudly noted. "We had some near personal bests on a course that was twenty to thirty seconds slower than the last two locations. It's great to see us catching up to teams that were way ahead of us early in the season." Lewis & Clark College took the women's team honors with forty-four points.
