September, 2003 Ellensburg , WA - Both the men's and women's cross country teams competed today at the Central University Open but ran incomplete teams in both races. Coach Dickson held out a couple athletes with minor injuries, running just four women and four scoring men. Central's home course is flat, but with more turns and rough footing compared to many courses. In the men's 4 mile race, Josh Klimek paced the team with a 28th place finish. Candy Owens led the women finishing in 63rd. |
