Drinkwine, who played college basketball at Eastern Oregon University during the 1980's, is entering his second season as Evergreen's first year coach with the most wins in school history.

In Drinkwine's first season, the men's team finished their 2007-08 season with their most successful record in six years.

The former Tacoma School District teacher also assisted at Boise State and Pacific Lutheran University and was also the interim head coach for Pierce College during the 2006-'07 season.

Coach Drinkwine currently lives in the Tacoma area with his wife Diane and their two children.
