Women's Basketball - Women's Basketball team (9-20, 8-12 CCC) The Geoducks have secured a spot in the Cascade Conference Playoffs as the #6 seed. The first round of championship play begins Tuesday the 26th in Caldwell, ID as they meet The College of Idaho (#3 seed 17-10, 14-6 CCC).
- The team lost their final two regular season conference games this weekend at Warner Pacific and Cascade College.
- Kristi Auckland (Jr. Cascade HS) averaged 16.5 points for both games to lead all Evergreen scorers. Jennifer Solberg (Sr. Franklin Pierce HS) has a dozen double-double performances this season.

Men's Basketball - The men's team (19-7, 14-6 CCC) maintains third place in the conference as they host Northwest University (#6 seed 14-15, 10-10 CCC) in the first round of the Cascade Conference Tournament. The Geoducks are betting on a good showing in the tourney to earn an at-large berth to the NAIA Div II National Championships next month. Game time Wednesday is at 7:30 PM. Admission for post-season games are the following prices. $2.00 for students with ID and 12-under, $5.00 for Seniors, $7.00 13+
- The team split their final regular season games this past weekend with Warner Pacific College and Cascade College, losing to WPC on Friday. Wednesday, Feb. 27th game begins at 7:30 PM in the Greenhouse.
- Nick Moore (Jr. Bethel High School) led his team in scoring this past weekend with a 22 point average in two games. He hit nearly 90% of his free throw attempts, made 67% from 3 point range and average 55% of his field goal attempts.

Men's and Women's Track and Field - Evergreen Track and Field has wrapped up their indoor season. There have been several school records and standards set this season. No Geoducks have qualified for the NAIA National Indoor Championships.
- Women's team member Lindsey Farah (Jr. Yelm High School) broke her school record with a win in the 600 meters with a 1:51.1 at the Pioneer Open at Lewis and Clark College this past Saturday. Farah was the only Geoduck present at the meet that was held outdoors with an indoor schedule (a one time opportunity for competitors to hit National Indoor qualifying standards). Farah also finished 2nd in the 400 meters in 1:05.1.
- Evergreen's outdoor season begins Saturday, March 1st at the Linfield College Icebreaker Invitational.

Women's Soccer - Pair signs to the 2008 team.
- Michelle Robinson from Shelton High School will play for the Geoducks in 2008. Robinson signed her Letter of Intent last week as announced by head coach John Purtteman. Michelle was nominated to 2007 Western Cascade All League First Team for Shelton High School for her play as an outside midfielder. Additionally, Robinson was acknowleged by King 5 news, making the High School Gametime A-Team for her athletic and classroom accomplishments. Robinson carries a 3.7 grade point average. Robinson is an all-around athlete. She bowls for the Shelton High Schools team, who made it to the State Championships. A game in the 200's is not a problem for the strong-armed Robinson, who also plays on Shelton's Fastpitch Team.
- Brittany Cino (Auburn, CA), currently a sophomore at Sierra College in Rocklin, CA, has signed her Letter of Intent to play soccer and attend Evergreen during the 2008-09 season. Cino is a soccer and track and field athlete who has been a three year letter winner in soccer and one year in track and field. Cino is a strong midfield defensive player with a strong competitive background.

Men's Soccer - Three sign to men's soccer team for 2008.
- Nathan Salveson has signed for the '08 season. Salveson has three years as captain of his Superior High School team in Wisconsin. He was League MVP as a Senior and twice named to the league All-Star Team. Salveson has spent the past two seasons at South Puget Sound Community College where he was named the team MVP both seasons. He currently splits time with FK Pacific in the Pacific Coast Soccer League and the Tacoma Stars in the Premier Arena Soccer League. Nathan was the goalkeeper for the Tacoma Stars this past summer and guided the team to the National Finals.
- Two brothers, Matt and Isaiah Herrera, will join Salveson during the 2008-09 school year.
Matt was the Pac-9 Co-MVP as a Junior at North Thurston High School in Olympia. Matt followed this performance by being named to the All State First Team as a Senior. He has played two years at Pierce College where he was selected to the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges All Star team.
Isaiah Herrera also attended North Thurston High School. Isaiah played a year at South Puget Sound Community College where he was voted the teams Best Defensive Player. He has been playing for FK Pacific in the Pacific Coast Soccer League for the last several years.
