Writing Your Own Ticket With Swagger
Time: 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM
Room: TBA
Session Description:
This session about making dreams come true, starting with a case study of 826 Seattle, a Space Traveler Outfitter and drop-in writing center. Teri will detail how her quirky vision has become a vibrant learning place for children from all over Seattle - arguably the coolest Seattle place north of the Space Needle. Teri and Rudy will then lead a discussion about how to create positive change by using the skills and confidence one receives as part of an Evergreen education. Participants will be asked to dream big, then share ideas about projects they would like to bring to life. Along the way, Rudy will tell stories of Greeners who have gone into the world and made it a better place. Dust off your dreams and prepare to be inspired!
