Medici Effect: What Elephants and Epidemics Teach Us About Innovation
Time: 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM
Room: TBA
Session Description:
Join us for a facilitated discussion of Frans Johansson’s book, The Medici Effect: What Elephants and Epidemics Can Teach Us About Innovation. Johansson asks why many world changing insights come from people with little or no related experience, and shows in his text how breakthrough ideas most often occur when we bring concepts from one field into new, unfamiliar territory and turn these ideas into exemplary innovations.
