Session Description:

Join Archivist Randy Stilson '77 and student conservator intern Caryn Dudley '13 for a workshop on document repair and preservation, and get the chance to dive into Evergreen’s past.

Caryn Dudley

Caryn Dudley '13: Caryn has studied archival processing and conservation under Randy Stilson during the 2012-2013 academic year, working primarily with paper and book objects. She will graduate at the end of spring 2013, and plans to continue her conservation education in graduate school.

Randy Stilson

Randy Stilson '77: W. Randolph Stilson studied conservation/preservation as a Master’s of Librarianship graduate of the University of Washington. He was a founder of the Conservation Associates of the Pacific Northwest (CAPNW), and for several years practiced as a conservator in Western Washington with partner and former State Archivist Sidney McAlpin in a company called Documents & Records: Conservation, Preservation, Restoration LLC (DR CPR LLC). He has taught numerous workshops and sponsored individual contracts in library and archival materials conservation.
