Can You Tell the Differences?
Over the summer, thanks in large part to funding from state and federal emergency management agencies, Evergreen’s clock tower got a seismic upgrade to help it withstand a possible future earthquake.
The project involved wrapping pillars and supports with a fiber-reinforced polymer material. The goal was to achieve the strengthening with minimal change to the appearance of the clock tower. Some of the difference in color is from a good power washing.
