Our natural landscape faces challenges that require innovative solutions. Habitat loss, invasive species, climate change and other factors put much of our biological heritage at risk. Engaging people of all ages in solutions is vital to conserving our natural world. The Institute for Applied Ecology fills a unique niche among nonprofit organizations and agencies because of its joint focus on restoration, research and education. Located in Corvallis, Oregon, we work with a diverse group of partners to accomplish our mission: To conserve native species and habitats through restoration, research, and education.
