I have an e-store at http://www.silkenwind.bigcartel.com and a blog that describes my artistic journey at http://silkenwind.com. I am a dyer, specializing in natural dyes including locally gathered lichens. I use many techniques to embellish fabric, including wax batik, embroidery, lace making, knitting, shibori. My unique art cloths become silk scarves, other wearables and art for the home. I teach fiber art classes to adults and children. I also craft gourd rattles for ceremonial use.
