How did Evergreen prepare you for your professional life?

Most of my friends at Evergreen were talented artists, writers and designers. By graduation, I knew I wanted to make a career working with creative people. Writing skills learned at Evergreen and the entreprenurial spirit there have both stood me in good stead. I've been self-employed in the visual arts in Seattle since 1977.
