Our naturopathic philosophy focuses on treating the root cause of an illness, rather than treating the symptoms alone. It is our goal to use the least invasive methods for effectively treating disease.

In depth conversations with our patients, physical examination, and laboratory testing guide us in making our diagnosis and treatment plan.

We prescribe certain pharmaceutical medicines or refer patients to medical specialists when necessary.

Naturopathic physicians have a four year post-graduate medical degree. Our training includes holistic therapies and a strong foundation of science. In addition to classroom education, the course of study includes two years working in the Bastyr University teaching clinic and internships with physicians in private practice.
