Evergreen helped prepare me for my professional life in the following way
I learned to love learning while at The Evergreen State College. I was treated with respect regarded as intelligent and I was taken at my word. There was an air of "Go out and get it, you can do anything," which made me fearless in my artistic vocational pursuits and my subsequent success. I learned to love learning at The Evergreen State College which carries over into my adult life, still, all these many years later, "I can do anything just go out and get it."
