Freshman Advising Day

Congratulations and welcome to Evergreen!


You are cordially invited to participate in a day of information and activities designed to support your success at Evergreen.

  • Attend an academic planning workshop
  • Meet Evergreen faculty, staff members and students
  • Learn more about the curriculum
  • Meet other new students
  • Register for fall quarter

If you plan to attend, please RSVP on-line.


We encourage you to invite family and friends.
Information sessions and activities will be available for them during the day.

Schedule for the Day — Friday May 11th, 2012

8:30 am Check-in table opens
9:00 am Welcome Session begins
10:00am-3:00pm Students: Curriculum Discussions and Academic Planning Workshops
Families & Friends: Seminars and Information Sessions
3:15 pm
 Students:  Register on-line
3:30 pm Tour residence halls and visit campus offices
Print a detailed schedule for the day. (Available soon!)
 

Parking

Parking fees are waived for Freshman Advising Day participants. You do not need to check in at the parking booth. Attendants will be on hand to provide directions and information. Parking area "B" is closest to the Freshman Advising Day event location, the Library.

Can't attend Advising Day in Olympia on May 11th?

Information on class selection, registration and how the Evergreen curriculum works is available online:

Web registration will open for all first-year students, on or off-campus, at 3:15 p.m. PST, May 11, 2012.
