CAB Tabling
PLEASE NOTE: These policies are ONLY for Registered Student Organizations (RSOs), Academic Programs and Evergreen Campus Offices. Please see CAB Vending if you are NOT one of these groups.
The Student Activities Office schedules tables on the 2nd floor of the College Activities Building (CAB) for the selling, merchandising, and information of goods and services. This is a service that is provided to the Evergreen community and to enhance student life. Priority is given to Registered Student Organizations of The Evergreen State College for use of the space.
Loading and unloading of supplies and goods must be done in the CAB basement only. Vehicles must be moved to one of the campus parking lots when loading/unloading is complete. DRIVING ONTO RED SQUARE FOR ANY REASON IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
The following types of vending and practices are prohibited: health screenings, psychic readings, tarot card reading, food sales (Bake Sales permitted), counseling services, new books, and the burning of candles or incense. It is also unlawful to block entry and egress from or within the building. Tables must remain in their location and cannot move.
If you intend to run a bake sale, you MUST notify the CAB 320 front desk in advance of the day you intend to sell. A food safety form must be completed and posted at your table during the sale. Registered Student Organizations should contact their advisor with questions.
All tables are reserved for the FULL-DAY.
Additionally, there are other locations available outside the CAB on Red Square available as an alternative to the CAB location.
NOTE: A minimum of (2) tables will always be reserved for Registered Student Organizations.
Reservation policy for Academic Programs and Campus Offices: Table reservations are limited to (5) days per (2) week period, with a maximum of (10) days per quarter. However, all tables that have not been reserved will be made available "day-of" to Student Groups, Academic Programs, and Campus offices on a first-come basis. These "day-of" reservations DO NOT count toward the (10) day maximum for Academic Programs and Campus Offices. Please contact the CAB 320 front desk on the "day-of" to see if there are tables available.
