With hospitality and humility, we attempt to understand more fully who Jesus is and what it means to follow Him. We aim to provide a community of students developing quality relationships as we explore life together and relationship with God while also advocating for the oppressed and marginalized on God's behalf. Through weekly large and small group gatherings, we will foster love and acceptance that we hope all of Evergreen would experience.
Animal Liberation Collective
We are dedicated to the abolition of animal exploitation and seek to educate the public through outreach, advocacy, and demonstration.
The Evergreen Archery Club offers a safe place where students who want to practice and partake in archery can do so on campus. We provide all equipment that is necessary and can provide tips and some instruction for individuals who are interested in the sport. We use both recurve and compound bows for our sessions.
Asian Pacific Islander Coalition (APIC)
The Asian Pacific Islander Coalition exists as a resource for students wishing to explore, share, and connect with other students through their own culture and experiences as well as welcome students who may be new to cultural studies. We wish to build a coalition that centers community, support, and the collective respectful learning sabout asian and Pacific Islander culture, history, and identity. We hope to explore our identites through food, art, travel, dance, and other various activities.
The ASL Club's mission is to educate and create a Deaf-inclusive space on campus and in the olympia community.
The Evergreen Bike Shop is a student-led, community-run, do-it-yourself bike shop that is open to the entire Olympia area. Our goal is to provide various resources to the community in order to promote cycling as an active lifestyle as well as educate people regarding alternative transportation issues. The shop provides an alternative to the often prohibitive nature of bike repair and culture both in financial cost and accessibility. By maintaining a free learning environment where anyone, student or not, can develop skills of bike self-reliance, the shop encourages a developing ethic of environmental and social consciousness.
Black Cottonwood Collective
The mission of the Black Cottonwood Collective is to acquire resources for and put on events catering to the Evergreen community while maintaining an anti-authoritarian praxis.
Black Student Union
The purpose of the Black Student Union (BSU) is to provide unity amongst those who identify with Black Peoples, while engaging with the Evergreen community through cultural, educational, and entertaining activities.
Broad Arts Club
The goal of Broad Arts Club is to be a unique and diverse art club, unlike any art club the world has ever seen. A place where experimentation and creation meet. We will explore a multitude of medias, materials, and more. Arts include, but are not limited to; casting, costume-fabrication, movie-making, make-up, music, etc. Fun at every meeting!
Campus Food Coalition
Evergreen Campus Food Coalition's mission is to bring students closer to food. We hope to instill a deeper connection to food and community as well as help foster independence from the corporate food systems. As part of our mission we will be offering free cooking classes on campus to students by students.
Chemistry and Other Sciences (ChAOS)
The Evergreen Chemistry and Other Sciences club's principle functions are a) to foster opportunities for students of science at The Evergreen State College to get involved in community and professional activities, b) to support and promote science education, especially as it relates to sustainable practices, both in the Evergreen and broader South Sound community and c) to play an important role in the social facet of the student body, engendering a sense of community among science students at Evergreen.
Evergreen Circus Resurgence is an inclusive student group devoted to the practice of circus arts. We are an open forum that welcomes people of all skill levels to play, practice, learn and teach at our weekly meetings. We provide the equipment, encouragement, and environment for everyone from seasoned professionals to absolute beginners to feel comfortable trying new tricks and honing their craft.
Clarity Dance Collective
Our mission is to provide an outlet for students to engage in choreographed dance pieces by offering them the opportunity to learn, facilitate, and perform works of art. Clarity strives to honor a wide variety of styles and encourage each member to explore their creative potential in a fun and inclusive environment. We welcome all skill levels and support our members as they pursue a passion for dancce.
Clean Energy Committee
The mission of the Clean Energy Committee is to support the success of energy efficiency, renewable energy, and resource conservation at Evergreen. The Clean Energy Committee is a group of students collaborating with campus staff and faculty. It carries the responsibility of representing the student body while appropriating the Clean Energy Fund. This fund was established by the students of Evergreen State College to fuel the progress of renewable energy in the Northwest.
Coalition Against Sexual Violence (CASV)
We strive to provide comprehensive domestic violence and sexual assault prevention/education, and consistently offer peer advocacy to students who have survived assault or allies of survivors. These resources are open to folks of all genders, orientations, and identities. We work to create a safer, educated campus community.
Our mission is to provide a friendly environment for artists and business students to collaborate and groom members for success in the career path they pursue by providing an array of business and arts related opportunities and activities where members can learn and grow.
Common Bread is a still point in your turning world. It is a crossroad of the spiritual paths, a trusting space to share your journey. We share good food and enjoy each others friendship. We have guest speakers from diverse wisdom traditions. We sing, share poetry, meditate, and dance together.
Our mission is to spread organic gardening practices to people who otherwise would not get the opportunity to love it; students just out of the city/suburbs, people who live in apartments that do not allow space for a garden, people who are intrigued by the idea of growing their own food but intimidated about trying it on their own. We will provide tools and seeds for your success, both literally and metaphorically. We organize workshops and work parties emphasizing responsible, ecological gardening practices and the importance of local food systems. The Evergreen Community Gardens aims to form a strong and supportive community of gardeners in which all lean, grow and teach each other.
Creative Cures is a meeting of minds to discover and implement innovative approaches towards treating and curing diseases of both physiological and psychological origin that afflict the unfortunate in our community and all over the globe.
El Club de Español
The purpose of el Club de Español is to provide educational opportunities outside of the classroom for those interested in Spanish language and culture. This club also provides the opportunity to meet with other Evergreen students & faculty interested in speaking Spanish
Electronic Music Collective
The Electronic Music Collective seeks to provide an atmosphere of revelry for electronic music to flourish. We wish to appreciate the history of electronic music’s origins, as well as its future. As a collective we will work on the production of events to spread awareness of this culture, and promote overall joy within the community. What’s your life’s soundtrack?
Embodied Arts Tribe (EAT)
The Embodied Arts Tribe (EAT) is dedicated to cultivating a space for Evergreen students and community to learn, explore, and enjoy somatic movement and meditative dance practices. Our classes and workshops offer a unique opportunity to explore, awaken, and become empowered within our body-mind, through mediataive exercises that open the doors to deeper levels of expression, embodiment, and self-discovery.
Evergreen Astronomical Society
The Evergreen Astronomical Society is a student run group with the goal of bringing the cosmos closer to home. We want to understand the tools and methods used to observe our galaxy and beyond.
Evergreen Comics Club
We seek to create a place for comics fans and artists to meet and talk about the art and culture of comics.
Evergreen Conservation Corps
Our intention is to build a community to support the natural areas on campus. The Evergreen Conversation Corps intends to survey, maintain, preserve, and protect Evergreen's natural landscape through the practice of sustainable trail building. The Evergreen Conservation Corps promotes community-based environmental stewardship.
Evergreen Dance Co-op
Dance Co-Op is a student-run organization dedicated to empowering the community through dance, meditation, and community building. It is an integrated part of the Olympia dance community, holding weekly dances that provide a safe space for students to express themselves and practice embodiment. We believe that self expression through movement helps us navigate the world and become better community leaders.
Evergreen Fiber Arts
Evergreen Fiber Arts Club provides a supportive community space for many to come as beginners to learn or as skilled individuals to improve their craft. We seek to empower community members by teaching them practical skill in fiber work and assisting them in exploring the potential of this field of study as hobby, study, or profession. We do this through providing weekly gatherings, workshops, a library of resources and networking with the larger community as a sustainable and intentional manner.
Evergreen Go Club
The Evergreen Go Club aims to spread the art, philosophy, and culture of the ancient game of go by plaing the game and sharing in a lush culture over 2,500 years old. We will look at art, anime, and film while we practice the aesthetics and etiquette that make go so popular around the world. We wish to create a comfortable space for players of all skill levels including those just starting out. Go is especially welcoming with a built-in system to create even matches between players of different skill levels.
Evergreen Music Circle
A Music Circle is a kind of gathering often seen at folk festivals and sci-fi conventions where musicians sit in a circle and take turns playing songs, jamming, reading poetry, or whatever else until such time as everyone is too tired to continue. We do that. At Evergreen. Thus, the Evergreen Music Circle. Come Play!
Evergreen-Olympia Community Drumline
We are an Evergreen-Olympia community drumline illuminating social justices and progressive change through artistic activism and community organizations.
The Evergreen Pagans are a student group dedicated to helping foster a supportive community forward organization to develop fellowship among pagans and those in the student body that seek knowledge and support of likeminded people. We are dedicated to expoloring a deeper understadning of our own paths and the role of our connection to the Earth.
Evergreen Players' Club
The Evergreen Players' Club exists to support the Magic: The Gathering club community. Holding a consistent space for Magic: The Gathering players to meet and build skills from beginner level to competitive level. The club will host magic events and build a collection of cards to support the above. Overall we're here to have fun.
Evergreen Queer Alliance (EQA)
The EQA hopes to create a safe space for members of the LGBTQ+ community at Evergreen. They also hope to create social change.
Evergreen Shellfish Club
The mission of the Evergreen Shellfish Club is to provide a hands-on, educational experience through shellfish aquaculture and wild harvest; to develop and maintain a strong commitment to water quality and our access to healthy marine resources.
Evergreen State Permaculture
Evergreen State Permaculture utilizes and stewards Demeter's Garden --a student-run permaculture demonstration site near The Organic Farm. This group promotes the principles and practices of holistic horticulture and provides a space for experimentation in those practices. The garden is always open for the campus community, providing an unique space to demonstrate ecologically-sound agriculture.
Evergreen Student Media Project
The Evergreen Student Media Project is a 36-year-old running tradition of music composed, performed, recorded, and produced by Evergreen students in collaboration with Student Activities, Electronic media, and the Advanced Multi-Track Composition program. This project aims to promote creativity by giving students an outlet for their art, both visual and musical. Our group consists mostly of audio recording students from the Advanced Audio Recording program, Intro to Audio Recording class and the Electronic Media Interns.
Evergreen Students for Sustainable Animal Agriculture (ESSAA)
The mission of ESSAA is to create and encourage opportunities for experimental and practical learning in animal agriculture to Evergreen students. This group is also affectionately known as Sheep Club!
Evergreen Vocal Ensemble
Evergreen Vocal Ensemble is an all inclusive company of singers on campus and in the community. As a group, regardless of singing level, we create and perform a repertoire of various genres of a capella music.
Evergreen Yoga Service Collective
TEYSC is a community where everyone is welcome to gather & share their knowledge & love for their yoga practice. We offer free & easily accessible yoga classes for everyone to practice & explore together. Our goal is to incorporate all aspects of yoga; the physical poses as well as holistic wellness & meditation to cultivate mindful awareness. Part of our mission is to collaborate & include other healing practices in union with yoga. We want to create a space on campus for a welcoming, safe & inclusive yoga practice. Together we can cultivate an awareness & share the healing benefits that yoga has to offer & encourage others to join our loving & healing community.
Nestora Salgado is an indigenous leader, US citizen, and political prisoner in Mexico. She was arrested for her leading role in a community self-defense network. The Free Nestora committee seeks her release through deploying a multiplicity of tactics: solidarity demonstrations, material support, symbolic actions, and engaging legislators.
The Gaming guild's mission is to provide a safe and fun environment for students and the community to get together, play games, and break the monotony of day-to-day. Through the use of a variety of games, we can encourage the building of community and all-around fun for everyone.
Gateways Student Alliance
The mission of the Student Group portion of the Gateways for Incarcerated Youth Program is to facilitate the work of TESC scholars and Gateways participants for cultivating the needs of prospective students transitioning from incarceration.
Generation Friends Comedy Arts Coalition
Generation Friends Comedy Arts Coalition is a group dedicated to the appreciation, performance, and education of the comedic arts. Our goal is to learn and perform improve, stand up, and sketch comedy within a spurrportive environment. We give and receive constructive criticism that leads to personal and performative growth. Fun is mandatory.

Geoduck Student Union
The Geoduck Union is the official representation of the student body at The Evergreen State College. The Union is committed to unifying students across all Evergreen campuses, serving their interests at the local, state, and national levels and empowering all students to participate in positive social and political chance while fostering a fair and diverse community. The Greeners Association for Psychedelic Studies (GAPS) is a group devoted to discussing the value of psychedelics for medical, therapeutic, spiritual, and scientific application. Our weekly meetings consist of presentations from members, documentaries, risk reduction information, and lively discussion. All are welcome to attend. We hope you will come explore with us.
Greeners for Bernie
Greeners for Bernie is here to get Bernie Sanders elected as president by phone banking, rallies, and other election events. We are also here to support progressive fights in Washington and the U.S.A.
The purpose of The Hemp Club is to get the Evergreen State College on the Department of Agricultural Pilot program to do research into the industrail hemp industry for the state of Washington. We will build an outline based on the Federal and State guidelines. Students will work in the different areas of research and will present it to the state legislature when they reconvene in January.
Hip Hop Congress
Hip Hop Congress is dedicated to educating, empowering, and uniting individuals through Hip Hop. We preserve and evolve Hip Hop by inspiring social action and culture creativity within the community.
Jewish Student Union
To provide a safe space for Evergreen students to explore their relationship to Judaism.
The Makeup Collab is here to provide expert help with makeup for all people. We encourage people of any skill to come and join us in learning. We will be exploring many different kinds of make up: stage, runway, period, photography, special effects, bridal, and beauty. You will get a chance to practice on yourself and others in an open and accepting community of people who have a love of makeup. We will also be learning more about skin care, makeup products, ingrediants, and some history of makeup. Another aspect we hope to talk and enlighten others about is makeup associated with gender/gender roles and how that binary is being challenged. With that said, we will welcome all people with any level of experience with open arems into the beauty community of Evergreen.
Master in Teaching Student Association
The mission of the Master in Teaching Student Association is to enhance teacher preparation at the Evergreen State College by providing extracurricular services to future educators that support them in their pre-professional development.

The MPA Student Union is the independent organization which functions to serve the academic, professional, and social will of the students in the MPA (general and tribal) cohorts at The Evergreen State College.
Native Student Alliance
The Native Student Alliance (NSA) is committed to building positive relationships between Native and non-Native communities by hosting cultural events. NSA is an inter-tribal organization that brings awareness to Indigenous issues in and outside of the Evergreen community. We strive to support our members and promote a welcoming community environment that respects our varying backgrounds while encouraging our efforts in social activism.

To educate and provide students opportunities to gain access to open source technology.
Perennial Players is first and foremost, art with a meaning. Our goal is to create art through theatre that impacts the people who see the shows in one way or another. We have a focus on social justice shows, both straight plays and musicals. "Love the art in yourself, not yourself in the art."
To foster a community of classical studies at TESC, to improve and inspire mehods of classical teaching, and to create a solid foundation for future students interested in the classics to come, are all the main foci of the Phrontisterion.
Queer & Trans People of Color (QTPOC)
Queer & Trans People of Color work to create a space for people who align with a QTPOC identity to come together and build community. We do so through holding space to dialogue & process about topics that affect our community. We strive to create visibility for ourselves.
Riot to Follow Theater Productions
Riot to Follow Theater Productions is a registered student organization at the Evergreen State College that aims to create welcoming, high-quality theater productions on campus. Our theater productions are free so that all members of both the Evergreen and outside community may enjoy theater at an affordable price. We believe that theater should be a safe place in which growth can happen.
Rock and Gem Club
The Evergreen Rock and Gem Club looks at the world from the viewpoint of rocks. We are about revealing the underground world of natural treasure that also tell geological stories. We can then hilight these treasures in our lapidary studio by grinding, cutting and polishing our rocks. It will also be a place to make jewelry. By joining the Rock and Gem Club, you will learn about our surrounding areas geologically and go on adventure Rock hunts! A group that is sure to enhance everyone's knowledge and deepen our appreciation of Earth! ((Not to be taken for Granite ;) ))
Through Russian Club, we plan to promote education and understanding of Russian language, life, culture, history, and customs within The Evergreen State College and the broader community. We will carry out this goal by planning events that connect our community to Russian culture, such as bake sales featuring authentic Russian recipes, events corresponding to russian holidays and significant events, as well as attending local celebrations and events pertaining to Russian culture.
The S&A Board is the student committee that allocates Services and Activities fees to all of the organizations you see here. This student committee renews itself annually and seeks new members every Fall.
Student Art Gallery
The Student Art Gallery is a network of students striving to provide support, community, and education for students interested in observing, creating, submitting, and/or curating art. Art of all mediums and levels are welcome. We provide workshops, lectures and resources for the campus as well as regular shows and gallery hours. In addition to exhibiting their work, we provide training and experience curating, promoting, installing, and documenting student artwork.
Students for Justice in Palestine
The Students for Justice in Palestine at Evergreen support a fair and just resolution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and an end to the Israeli government policies of discrimination and occupation against Palestinians in the occupied territories, inside Israel, and those driven to become refugees by Israeli government action. We also oppose the involvement of the United States government with various dictatorial regimes across the Middle East in general. We aim to do our part to meet these goals by informing our community about and opposing Evergreen's financial involvement with these policies and regimes through their investments in companies involved in human rights abuses.
Students for Sustainable Urban Design
This is a group that is dedicated to exploring the various elements of a city's form, including but not limited to: geography, agriculture, infrastructure, economy and policy.Our belief is that the built environment is the foundation for the fabric of our society and studying it will lead to incredible change and growth. Our goal is to have a better understanding of innovative ways to order our built environment and, in return, create a more sustainable society. We aim to insert ourselves into the contemporary dialogue of Urban Design to grasp the concepts at play within the real world by attending conferences, hosting guest speakers, and investigating published material surrounding urban design.
Student Video Gamers Alliance (SVGA)
The Student Video Gamer's Alliance exists to bring students together around gaming culture on campus and in the local community. By bringing students and other gamers into the same physical space we facilitate social engagement and encourage students to participate with campus activities who would not otherwise do so.

The mission of T*REX is to provide resources, outreach, education, support, and advocacy for gender non-conforming students and allies.
Vanishing Point Literary Magazine
Vanishing Point is an arts and literary magazine for the students and faculty of The Evergreen State College. We aim to represent a range of talent and styles while creating an atmosphere of openness and accessibility to both our readership and the artists who submit their work. We function as a gathering point for creative people in the form of a website and print publication.
WashPIRG - Evergreen Chapter
WashPIRG is an independent, statewide, student-run organization that works to protect the environment and consumers and end hunger and homelessness. For 30 years, students with WashPIRG’s Evergreen Chapter have been winning concrete changes that make a difference in people’s lives. WashPIRG helps students learn the skills of effective citizenship by providing opportunities for us to investigate social problems, find practical solutions, convince the media to pay attention, organize the public, and get decision-makers to act.
This quarter, WashPIRG’s solar campaign is building public pressure on the state legislature to pass a bill in this legislative session that would cause Washington to get 10% of its energy from solar power, up from less than 1%. Solar power in Washington is opposed by the powerful fossil fuel and nuclear industries. However, our campaign is driven by the understanding that we can win if we build enough public pressure on elected officials. We have a wide range of volunteer opportunities where everyone can get involved, learn organizing skills, and make a real difference on climate change and air pollution. The solar campaign is democratically run, and we'd love to hear your ideas!
Way of Tea
The purpose of the Way of Tea club is to enjoy and celebrate traditional Japanese tea culture. We seek to provide a mindful space to momentarily abandon worldly problems and enjoy the simple pleasures of good company and tea.
Women's Resource Center (WRC)
The mission of the Women's Resource Center is to promote and advocate for gender equity and social justice on campus and in the larger community. Our office strives to be a safe place to get information and connect with campus and community services. We provide free menstrual supplies, safe sex supplies, pregnancy tests, educational resources, and reading material for check-out.
Women of Color Coalition (WOCC)
The purpose of the Women of Color Coalition (WOCC) is to connect all persons who identify as women of color and desire community, including gender non-conforming and non-binary identities. We plan to create community enrichment through events, activities, and spaces for women of color and their allies who are interested in equitable relationship building. Our intention is to develop an environment that allows for us to come together in solidarity and empower one another through cultural, educational and entertaining meeting and events. We aim to be a resource for students who want to explore identity and create visibility for women of color in our community, and provide personal time as well as exploring written work by women of color. We strive to utilize WOCC to educate and empower our members in honoring unique experiences, common ground, and celebrating cultural ties to support each other navigating our campus community.
The Wonder Collective aspires to inspire creative exploration through studio-based community and events which encourage spiritual growth through creative practices. The Wonder Collective's focus is adaptable to the membership. This year, the Wonder Collective is holding a weekly clay club and other ceramics-related programming.
